Where silly instruments do serious work

Armed with ukuleles and kazoos (yes, kazoos!) we create fun, inclusive music experiences that support personal well-being through trauma-informed, people-centered practice.

Through workshops, kazoo choirs, and our unique 'Ukehestra' (a ukulele/kazoo orchestra), we foster belonging, build confidence and develop pathways.

Why did Uke-azoo start?

During her time working within the Prison Service, Catering tutor, Tina Boydell, was asked to deliver an out of the ordinary lesson during the Prison’s Christmas Week.  She decided to take her ukulele to work and grabbed a bag of kazoos so the others could join in.
